Wild Turkey is an American Kentucky Straight Bourbon produced in the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
The Wild Turkey Whiskey was selected and bottled by the master distiller Jimmy Russel and is only available to a limited extent. It is a particularly tasty variant of Kentucky whiskey.
The Russells 10 years matures in oak barrels for a very long time and has a massive taste with great softness.
It keeps the balance between spicy and sweet particularly well. The Small Batch Bourbon has an extremely rich and full character, which delights with notes of caramel and vanilla and a soft finish. Notes of vanilla, ripe fruits, peach and honeysuckle fill the air. Dark honey, oak, toffee, cigar box and a hint of old leather accompany these notes. On the palate it is very spicy with chilli, tamarind, almonds and cumin.
