Wild Turkey is an American Kentucky Straight Bourbon produced in the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
The Wild Turkey Whiskey was selected and bottled by Master Distiller Jimmy Russel and is only available to a limited extent. It is a particularly tasty variant of Kentucky whisky. The whiskey matured in heavily burned oak casks, also known as 'alligator'. Only the best casks are selected by Jimmy and Eddie Russel and bottled as a single cask.
Notes of light oak, cinnamon and vanilla fill the air. Light aromas of coconut and dried orange are also perceived. On the palate it is spicy and full-bodied. A light oak tone, aromas of baking spices and dark chocolate are combined with fresh mint and a little vanilla to create the perfect whiskey aroma. The finish is long and slightly sweet.
