This award-winning Woodford whiskey is produced in the oldest and smallest distillery in Woodford County, Kentucky, triple distilled according to old tradition, mixed from the best and finest ingredients, matured in selected American white oak barrels and selected, numbered and bottled signed, Woodford Reserve is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey of the extra premium class, which is then subjected to a second maturation phase in deeply roasted and lightly carbonated oak barrels.

The masterfully balanced Woodford Reserve Rye Whiskey is distilled, aged and bottled in Kentucky. In contrast to conventional rye, Woodford Reserve Kentucky Rye Whiskey has a smaller proportion of rye in the mash bill and represents the more traditional Kentucky Rye. The strong character and the accentuated spice lead to a long, sweetish-spicy finish.

Spicy aromas rise into the nose, with pronounced notes of rye, black pepper, cedar wood and cassia bark, sweetened with a little marzipan. Notes of pear, apple and almond resonate on the palate. In terms of taste and finish, it is long and sweet and spicy.
