Louis Roederer Cristal Brut is a white champagne from France and the prestige cuvée of the Louis Roederer house. Cristal is produced only in selected vintages when the grapes reach particularly high ripeness and quality.
The cuvée comes from Grand Cru vineyards in Champagne and combines Pinot Noir and Chardonnay into a finely structured, precise and age worthy champagne. Long bottle ageing and traditional hand riddling contribute to its fine mousse and aromatic depth.
Depending on the vintage, the nose shows ripe citrus fruits, white fruits, fine roasted notes, hazelnut, brioche, mineral notes and floral accents. On the palate, Louis Roederer Cristal Brut is clear, fresh and concentrated with fine fruit, creamy bubbles and saline tension.
The finish is long, fresh and precise. Cristal is especially suited as a premium champagne for special occasions, for sipping neat or with refined dishes such as scallops, white meat, poultry, fish and fine cuisine.
