Behind the small manufacture from the Netherlands is Thomas Klaphake, the owner of the premium manufacture in our neighboring country that has been producing cigars since 1832. De Olifant mainly produces so-called "dry" Indonesian products in the Dutch style. The Dutch premium manufacturer is a gem in terms of its ambience and the quality of its products. What is unique about De Olifant cigars in the world is the fact that each format has its own specific blend. De Olifant's special production method makes it possible to combine up to 20 different tobaccos in one cigar model. As in an alchemist's kitchen, the melangeur can "season" the cigar in this way. Each of the individual tobacco types brings its own characteristics such as sharpness, sweetness and freshness to the model. The crowning glory: the cover sheet. The rare original Sumatra sand sheet is used for all three lines, the taste and aroma of which are unsurpassed, because, according to Thomas Klaphake: "We have always followed the maxim that an excellent cigar needs a special wrapper." Awarded as "Entrepreneur of the Year" . Length: 111MM Diameter: 13.1MM Origin: Netherlands Cover sheet: Original Sumatran sand sheet Binder: Java (Besuki) Inlay: Brazil, Cuba, Java, Sumatra4 Taste: Fine cedar and caramel notes, white pepper and dark chocolate. Perfect in harmony. In the beginning it is about the quality of the products. They should be unadulterated, authentic, unmanipulated. That is the basis that is needed to create something extraordinary. The Classic line are masterpieces packed in fine cedar wood boxes. The cigars ripen to perfection in them. The scent of the cedar is carried over to the cigars and gives them the final aromatic finishing touch.
