The name Alonso Menendez is well known to true cigar connoisseurs. As the founder of the Cuban brands Montecristo and H. Upmann, he helped shape the world of cigars. Felix, Alonso Menendez's son, built after emigrating from Cuba in the 1960s Years ago in Brazil the Menendez Amerino tobacco plantation.
A handmade cigar with a black Mata Fina wrapper and a filler blend of pure Brazilian tobaccos. This makes this cigar a “Puro”. A robust yet balanced cigar - a specialty for true aficionados. There is no alternative to these Brazilian puros from the Caribbean that tastes similar due to the climatic conditions and soil conditions: it is absolutely worth a try.

TOP OF THE BUCKET LIST
An outstanding Cigar in every way, to include the brand "band" on the item, the draw is slightly tighter, but is accompanied by the aroma that is heavily "ground coffee" and has a nice finish. These traits as befits such a Cigar are "bottom draw specials" for times when excess is never too much. The wood box that they come in is ideal for keeping them in good condition, not just in the packing for transit but as a long term storage use. My thanks go out to Leon and the team for their dedication to perfection.

Kauf ich wieder
Diese Zigarre ist zwar etwas fester gedreht, aber ausgesprochen mild. Wenn man einen festeren Zug mag, unbedingt zu empfehlen
