Since 2018, Maya Selva has used these limited releases to honor the craftsmanship of cigar making, blending traditional Chinese motifs with the mysterious hieroglyphs of the Maya. In both cultures, animal symbolism plays a key role. The ancient Maya believed that each person is guided through life by a “nahual” — a spiritual animal companion. 2025 is the Year of the Snake — a creature of captivating presence, representing intuition, wisdom, and business acumen.
This elegant composition brings together select tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua, crowned with a carefully chosen wrapper leaf from the Jamastrán Valley in Honduras. Particularly notable is the double binder: one from Honduras and the other from Nicaragua — a combination that adds depth and complexity to the blend.
