In June 2002, Don Pepin Garcia founded the "El Rey de los Habanos" factory with his family. Pepín came from a family of tobacco farmers and joined the family business in 1961 at the age of 11. In 1963 he joined the "Félix Rodríguez" factory, owned by another uncle and always located in Baéz. There he developed a long career until he was finally able to leave Cuba in 2001. During this time he received numerous prizes and awards for the quality of his work, including the prestigious Productivity Award.

Today he has his own factory in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami. This manufactory belongs to the quality elite of the industry and is universally recognized. The My Father The Judge Grand Robusto is a handmade longfiller cigar from Nicaragua. It belongs to the My Father Cigars The Judge series and is made in a large Grand Robusto format with boxpressed construction.

The Ecuador Sumatra wrapper surrounds Corojo and Criollo binders and a filler blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos. The filler tobaccos come from García family farms and give the cigar its full bodied, layered profile.

With a length of 127 mm, a diameter of approx. 23.8 mm and a ring gauge of 60, the Grand Robusto offers a generous smoking format. In terms of flavour, it shows notes of wood, almond, coffee, anise, bread, nuts and fine spice.
