The roots of Oliva go back to a long tobacco tradition that began in 1866 by Melanio Oliva in Cuba. Two generations later, in 1966, Gilberto Oliva Sr. left his homeland. After traveling extensively through various countries, the Olivas found a new home in Nicaragua in 1994. The following year, the first private label was born. After opening a new factory in 2003, the Oliva brand made its breakthrough on the market in 2006 with the V series.

Oliva Serie V Double Toro is a full bodied premium cigar from Nicaragua. It belongs to Oliva’s renowned Serie V line and offers an intense, rich smoking experience with depth, dark aromas and fine spice.

The blend combines an Ecuador Sun Grown wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Specially fermented Jalapa Valley Ligero plays a key role, giving the cigar strength, structure and aromatic density.

The flavour profile shows dark chocolate, coffee, roasted notes, cedar, earth, leather, pepper and subtle sweetness. The large Double Toro format provides a long and even smoke with creamy smoke development and a bold character.
