This is a true premium brandy from Williams & Humbert. The bodega was founded in Jerez in 1877 by Sir Alexander Williams, a connoisseur and admirer of Jerez products, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in international economic relations. Today the bodega is one of the most prestigious producers in the world.
Alfonso XO "Solera Gran Reserva" is a sherry brandy made from selected spirits obtained through the distillation of Spanish white wines of the highest quality. The brandy is aged in American oak casks previously used to make sherry. It takes at least 3 years to mature this brandy in this way and to obtain a high quality Solera Grand Reserve grade brandy.
On the palate and in the nose, sweet notes of roasted and vanilla notes as well as light honey and wood notes rise, giving the brandy a long and pleasant finish.
