Carlos I Brandy de Jerez Solera Gran Reserva is the epitome of fine Spanish brandy. After being available exclusively to its creators as a private reserve for decades, the bodega launched the exquisite Solera Gran Reserva in 1922 under the name CARLOS I. The success was as resounding as it was sustained. Thanks to its unmistakable aroma and its silky-smooth character, CARLOS I has been considered the No. 1 among Spain's finest brandies ever since.

This brandy belongs to the popular Carlos I brandy family of the Spanish Osborne Group and is made from fine grapes of the white grape variety Airén and distilled in stills in the traditional way.

The brandy is characterized by its balance and its fruity aromas paired with elegant notes of roasted cocoa and liquorice. It owes its multi-faceted and perfectly balanced aromas to being stored in fine Pedro Ximénez sherry casks that are over 100 years old using the Criadera and Solera methods.

On the nose and on the palate one perceives sweet and fruity aromas of dried fruits of raisins and caramelized oak with a slightly spicy note of cocoa and liquorice. The finish is long-lasting.
