Every drop that flows into a bottle of Courvoisier is a collective effort. The close knit community of artisans in Jarnac, France plays an essential role in making it the most award-winning cognac house. Courvoisier pays great attention to the quality that is delivered at every stage of the manufacturing process. Cognac can only be made from Colombard, Folle Blanche or Ugni Blanc grapes. However, Courvoisier mainly works with the top four: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. All cognacs from the house must be at least two and a half years old and become more and more complex and supple with age.

Courvoisier VS (“Very Special”) is the youngest Eau de Vie in the range and is aged in Limousin casks for a minimum of two years. Made from Ugni grapes and produced in the French wine regions of Charente and Charente-Maritime. 800 winemaking families work in partnership with Courvoisier, many for generations. The experience and passion from these relationships flow into this exquisite cognac.

Notes of strong cloves, orange peel, cloves and hazelnuts fill the air. On the palate, one perceives a daring balance of fresh, floral and fruity notes with surprising smoothness. The finish is long and full-bodied.
