Every drop that flows into a bottle of Courvoisier is a collective effort. The close knit community of artisans in Jarnac, France plays an essential role in making it the most award-winning cognac house. Courvoisier pays great attention to the quality that is delivered at every stage of the manufacturing process. Cognac can only be made from Colombard, Folle Blanche or Ugni Blanc grapes. However, Courvoisier mainly works with the top four: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. All cognacs from the house must be at least two and a half years old and become more and more complex and supple with age.

XO stands for the opulence of the Courvoisier house. The XO is a tribute to all the different terroirs in its region and consists of carefully selected Eaux-de-Vie, which were allowed to ripen for 11 to 25 years. The complex, exuberant aromas of the XO are suitable for the special occasions and achievements that can be celebrated together in the family, in the circle of friends and with business partners - just like the Courvoisier house celebrates the art of blending.

Exotic vanilla and cocoa beans, spicy amber and cinnamon, with floral violet and iris notes. On the palate you perceive a touch of oranges, apricots and pears with fine spice and vanilla notes. The finish is very long and soft.
