The Frapin family, established in France since 1270, has been a family of winegrowers and later distillers of the "LA MAISON FRAPIN" distillery for 21 generations. The Grande Champagne, Premier Cru de Cognac, became the family's adopted home.
The Frapin style is the result of time and spirit and expresses the quintessence of Cognac at the highest level. With its exceptional vineyards covering more than 240 hectares exclusively in the heart of the 1er Cru de Cognac of Grande Champagne, the House of Frapin passionately embodies the great tradition of a family that has been established in Charente since 1270. Combining traditional knowledge and age-old methods, Frapin offers Cognacs that are harvested, distilled and matured exclusively in the cellar.
For the VIP XO Cognac, fine spirits are blended that are between 35 and 40 years old. The result is a cognac that will impress even the most discerning connoisseur. Aromatic and slightly spicy notes and floral accents emerge on the nose. On the palate, it is smooth, full-bodied and very elegant, with nutty tones and fruity apricot notes. The finish is smooth and long-lasting.
