The Hardy Cognac family has a tradition of producing the most delicate cognacs and the finest eaux-de-vie. Hardy Cognac SA is based in Cognac, France.
Maison Hardy owes its name to an authentic English gentleman, Anthony Hardy. Like any conscientious wine and spirits merchant, Hardy liked to leave London as often as he could and travel to Charente to check on the progress of the best cognac crus. In 1863, he finally succumbed to the charms of the region, moved for good and founded Maison Hardy.
This cognac is composed of 30 eaux-de-vie. It is 75% Grande Champagne and 25% Petite Champagne, and has an average age of 25 years.
On the nose, rich notes rise with a slight sweetness and spice. Notes of raisins, tobacco, cinnamon and apricots are perceived as well.
