The Hardy Cognac family has a tradition of producing the most delicate cognacs and the finest eaux-de-vie. Hardy Cognac SA is based in Cognac, France.
Maison Hardy owes its name to an authentic English gentleman, Anthony Hardy. Like any conscientious wine and spirits merchant, Hardy liked to leave London as often as he could and travel to Charente to check on the progress of the best cognac crus. In 1863, he finally succumbed to the charms of the region, moved for good and founded Maison Hardy.
Hardy Cognac VSOP is a "Fine Champagne", i.e. it is made from the best of Grande and Petit Champagne. This VSOP is produced in close cooperation with partner winegrowers. The focus is on careful vine care and environmental protection. ECOCERT certification as an organic product. Box and label made from recyclable paper and cardboard.
Aromas of spring flowers fill the nose. Notes of vanilla, hazelnut and cinnamon on the palate. The finish is very long.
