Maison Hardy owes its name to an authentic English gentleman, Anthony Hardy. Like any conscientious wine and spirits merchant, Hardy liked to leave London as often as he could and travel to Charente to check on the progress of the best cognac crus. In 1863, he finally succumbed to the charms of the region, moved for good and founded Maison Hardy.
Hardy XO has the typical dark amber color. A strong nutty aroma forms on the nose, while the taste of rose petals, dates and tobacco predominates. Hardy XO is at the same time remarkably deep as well as velvety smooth.
