Martell is a cognac house and was founded by Jean Martell. The Cognac wine region is located in the Charente region of France near the Atlantic coast. Martell used grapes from the vineyards of the Borderie sub-region and Tronçais oak for his barrels. This resulted in a combination that produced an exceptionally smooth cognac. Each Martell Cognac has it's own unique story to tell, from the timeless classic to limited editions.
The cognac is produced according to a time-honored traditional recipe, which is now 250 years old.
It is smooth, mellow and complex with hints of glacé fruit. Taste-wise, it is super rounded and accompanied with a long-lasting finish.
