The brand, which is marketed in France under the name Dupuy, can look back on a hundred years of tradition and quality. This cognac is particularly popular in Norway. It is rumored that the cognac was created by a Norwegian who fell madly in love with a French woman.

Bache-Gabrielsen Tre Kors VS is a Cognac with an extraordinary backstory dating back to the Norwegian prohibition period from 1916 to 1926. As alcohol became restricted to medical use only, Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen cleverly replaced the traditional three VS stars with three crosses (“Tre Kors”), allowing the Cognac to remain on the market. The name has endured ever since and remains one of the brand’s most iconic expressions.

The blend consists of 25% Grande and Petite Champagne and 75% Fins Bois eaux-de-vie, aged for a minimum of two years in oak casks. The result is a deep amber Cognac with a lively, youthful bouquet featuring notes of vanilla, fresh wood, citrus and spices.

On the palate, Tre Kors VS is soft and fruity, showing freshness and a pleasantly long finish. A balanced young VS that combines French craftsmanship with a touch of Norwegian ingenuity.

Warning:
Enjoy responsibly.
