Every drop that goes into a bottle of Courvoisier is a collective effort. The close knit community of craftsmen in Jarnac, France plays an essential role in making it the most awarded Cognac house. Courvoisier pays great attention to the quality delivered at every stage of the production process. Cognac may only be made from Colombard, Folle Blanche or Ugni Blanc grapes. Courvoisier, however, works primarily with the best four crus: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois. All Cognacs from the house must be aged for at least two and a half years, becoming ever more complex and smoother as they mature.
Courvoisier VSOP Triple Oak combines the signature of one of the major Cognac houses with a particularly layered maturation in oak. The name “Triple Oak” refers to several stages of oak influence, adding structure, warmth and aromatic depth.
- Nose: Vanilla, dried fruits, delicate floral notes, plus toasted nuts.
- Palate: Smooth and balanced with oak, gentle sweetness, fruit and subtle spice.
- Finish: Long, soft and lingering with floral and woody nuances.
Note: As a VSOP, this bottling includes distillates aged for at least four years.
