From their beginnings as forest owners born in the 17th century in the Tronçais forest in France, the Gautier family has developed a close relationship with oak, a key element to master the long aging process of their cognac. They have specially selected French oaks. They roast their barrels slowly over a medium fire to give the cognac distinctive, rich, subtle and grilled notes.
XO Gold & Blue is the emblematic cognac of the House of Gautier, founded in 1755, a blend of old eaux-de-vie with rounded fullness and typical "rancio".
Floral aromas with hints of toast and cinnamon. XO Gold & Blue is a subtle, round, harmonious cognac. It explodes on the palate with flavors of candied fruit in a generous, mild, exquisitely harmonious blend with that la ngness so characteristic of old cognacs.
