Pisco is the national alcoholic drink of Chile and Peru and is also produced there. Pisco is a high-proof distillate made from Pedro Ximénez grapes, Muscat grapes and Torontel fruits. These grapes are grown exclusively for Pisco production. After distillation, it is stored in barrels made of Räuli. These casks are a South American type of beech, which gives the drink a woody and nutty touch.
Fruity notes and a hint of oak fill the air. On the palate one perceives notes of fruit, wood and a hint of nutmeg.
