Rémy Martin is one of the few cognac houses of a family born and raised in Cognac.
Rémy Martin is a brand of the spirits producer Rémy Cointreau. In addition to various cognacs, a Pineau des Charentes, a type of liqueur wine, is also offered under the Rémy Martin name. Rémy Martin is based in the town of Cognac.
The Rémy Martin Carte Blanche à Baptiste Loiseau – Merpins Cellar Edition is an extraordinary Cognac creation that captures the true spirit and craftsmanship of the House of Rémy Martin. For the exclusive Carte Blanche series, Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau was given the rare honor of selecting a unique expression from over 140,000 casks stored in the historic Merpins cellars.
For this second edition, Loiseau chose only the finest Eaux-de-Vie from the Fine Champagne region, each aged for over 27 years in French oak barrels. The result is a Cognac of remarkable depth, complex character, and exceptional refinement. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 44.1% ABV, this release is non-chill filtered and naturally colored, preserving the pure, unaltered essence of its long maturation.
The nose reveals intense aromas of cinnamon, cloves, and honey, complemented by delicate notes of gingerbread and mirabelle plums. On the palate, the Cognac is rich and spicy yet displays a beautifully rounded softness, leading into a luxurious, lingering finish.
Limited to just 9,650 bottles worldwide, this exclusive release debuted in November 2017 and is aimed at discerning connoisseurs who appreciate mature, character-driven Cognacs with exceptional Depth.
