Calvados is an amber-colored apple brandy from Normandy, France. The name of the drink is derived from its protected designation of origin, the "Département Calvados". For the production of calvados, the fresh apple cider is fermented into cider in a few weeks, there are a total of 48 different apple varieties.
"Calvados Pere Magloire Pays d'Auge" is aged in oak barrels for at least 4 years and owes its taste to the double distillation process. "Pere Magloire V.S.O.P." has a deep, stimulating bouquet that delights all lovers of a noble calvado.
It has a strong scent of apple blossoms. The taste is very fresh and has a harmonious mixture of maturity and fruity freshness.
