Nonino is a small Italian company that is a producer of grappa. It is based in the Friuli region in northeastern Italy. The Nonino distillery is known for its smooth, elegant, woody to nutty or even spicy enjoyment. Grappa Nonino often has a sweetish and mild effect, but anything but shallow.
Nonino Grappa Il Prosecco Barrique Monovitigno is a selected marc made from Prosecco grapes that are fresh and softly picked. Amber-colored with gold reflections thanks to the 18-month aging in barriques.
Soft and floral with an almond and green apple bouquet that dissolves in a fine scent of vanilla and chocolate. Should be served in a brandy snifter at room temperature.
