The Vecchia Grappa di Prosecco is the classic among the numerous grappa varieties from the renowned grappa house Andrea da Ponte from Venetion. The Andrea da Ponte manufactory is a distillery that was founded in 1892 and is therefore one of the most traditional and oldest distilleries in Italy.
The Vecchia Grappa di Prosecco is made from selected Prosecco grapes. The grappa is twice distilled and then matured for 8 years in oak barrels.
This grappa has a complex and fruity aroma with floral hints and a slightly balsamic note and its gentle, slightly sweet taste with hints of honey, vanilla, sultanas and apricots as well as some vanilla.
