The Ziegler distillery has been producing spirits since 1865. The distillery was founded in Freudenberg am Main, Germany.
The name "Alte Zwetschge" comes from the barrel storage. This brandy matures for up to five years in chestnut and oak barrels. The resulting aromas are reminiscent of orange, chestnut and cinnamon.
