The Ziegler distillery has been producing spirits since 1865. The distillery was founded in Freudenberg am Main, Germany.
For the number one distillery, a win-win situation was created between Ziegler and the tap pickers.The wild cherries used for Ziegler No. 1 are collected by cone pickers in southern Germany. They need the fruit's stones to secure the future - and burn the sweet shell to let it ripen for five years to become the best wild cherry brandy.
