The Ziegler distillery has been producing spirits since 1865. The distillery was founded in Freudenberg am Main, Germany.
The apples used come from the Altes Land region, south of Hamburg. Ten million fruit trees grow there, including some of the older varieties from which the Ziegler distillery produces carefully selected cuvées. The distillery attaches great importance to selecting the right apples.
A fruit brandy made from old apple varieties and matured in wooden barrels is the right choice for fruit brandy lovers who like strong fruit flavors. Ziegler "Alter Apfel" has a strong and lively character with a strong apple aroma and harmonious wood flavor.
