On the shores of Lake Constance in western Austria, in a region known for its extensive orchards, fruits such as apples, pears, plums, cherries, apricots, quinces, and many other varieties develop a uniquely intense character thanks to the area's special climate conditions. Since 1886, these natural treasures have been used to craft exquisite fruit distillates of the highest quality. What began as a simple farm with a guesthouse gradually evolved into a cooperage and cidery, eventually becoming today’s renowned fine distillery with sealed production – the Prinz Distillery.

THE RED GOOSEBERRY
The red gooseberry is known for its high yield and its sweet and tangy flavour. These berries are medium sized and grow in clusters. They are exceptionally healthy and offer many uses. Thanks to their thin skin, firm flesh and delicious taste, they are ideal for producing a fine liqueur.
