The Bombay Gin comes from the traditional Laverstoke Mill in England. For the production of the gin, raw materials of the highest quality are needed. Up to 12 valuable pesticides are used, which float over the spirit during distillation in perforated copper baskets. In this way, the heated alarms are gently moved with all the rich aromatic flavors.
Star of Bombay is a super premium gin from Bombay Sapphire. Bottled at 47.5% vol., this expression presents the familiar Bombay character in a more intense, smoother and deeper aromatic form.
In addition to the classic 10 Bombay botanicals, bergamot peel and ambrette seeds are used. The particularly slow vapour infusion allows the botanicals to release their aromas gently into the alcohol vapour, creating a refined and layered gin profile.
On the nose, it shows juniper, citrus fruits, bergamot, fine spice and floral nuances. On the palate, Star of Bombay is clear, aromatic and rounded with citrus freshness, herbs, spices, gentle sweetness and a pleasantly smooth mouthfeel.
The finish is long, fresh and spicy. Star of Bombay is especially well suited for premium gin and tonic serves, Martini cocktails or sipping over ice.
