Caorunn Master's Cut Gin is a bold Scottish gin from the Speyside region. At 48% vol., this expression shows the familiar Caorunn character in a more intense form with stronger juniper, spice and fruity depth.
Caorunn is handcrafted in small batches at Balmenach Distillery. Alongside classic gin botanicals, five Celtic botanicals are at the heart of the recipe, including rowan berry, which also gives the gin its name.
On the nose, Caorunn Master's Cut shows piney juniper, gentle spice, raisins and dried fruit. On the palate, it is clean, fresh and full bodied with notes of pine, juniper, rowanberry and strong apple fruitiness.
The finish is long, dry and spicy. This gin is especially well served with chilled tonic water, plenty of ice and green apple slices, which highlight its fresh fruit and fullness.
