Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin with Italian Fig & Laurel combines the character of The Shed Distillery in Ireland with Mediterranean botanicals. Italian violet fig, laurel and Tuscan juniper add a distinctive touch to the classic Gunpowder composition.
The recipe is based on juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, orris root, caraway, cardamom seeds, star anise and meadowsweet. Italian fig adds fruity depth, while the taste is fresh, citrus led and spicy with notes of oriental botanicals.
Enjoy this Irish gin neat over ice, as a gin and tonic or as part of a cocktail. It is especially enjoyable with a thick slice of fresh red grapefruit.
