Gin del Professore Monsieur is a bold yet balanced Italian gin crafted in the traditional Old Tom style. It is produced by the Antica Distilleria Quaglia in Piedmont in collaboration with the renowned “Jerry Thomas Project” bar in Rome – named after legendary bartender Jerry Thomas, a pioneer of mixology.
This gin is made using only natural ingredients, including juniper, lavender, cinnamon, vanilla, chamomile, and orange peel. It is unfiltered, preserving its natural golden hue and rich complexity. On the nose, it offers a warm and spicy bouquet with citrus, herbs, and a touch of vanilla. The palate is soft, full-bodied, and slightly sweet, with notes of spice, dried herbs, honey, and a whisper of wood. The finish is long, round, and gently warming.
