Knut Hansen is a gin brand from Hamburg and part of Hamburg Distilling Company HDC GmbH. The brand stands for northern German character, selected botanicals and craft distillation in Hamburg. Production takes place in small batches on a copper 150 litre still.
Knut Hansen Crew's Choice Gin is a distilled gin from Hamburg with 40% vol. This bottling was developed for the needs of bars, gastronomy and versatile drinks, offering a clear and highly mixable character.
Juniper forms the aromatic foundation. Coffee adds depth and light roasted notes, cardamom brings fine spice and hops contribute a fresh northern German touch.
In the glass, Knut Hansen Crew's Choice shows a striking deep blue colour. On the nose, juniper, cardamom and subtle coffee roasted notes come together. On the palate, the gin is clear, spicy and fresh with fine depth and a balanced finish.
Crew's Choice is especially well suited for gin and tonic, highballs and classic gin cocktails. It also shows its own character when served neat over ice.
