Rocky Patel is one of the best known figures in the cigar world. After a successful career as a Hollywood lawyer, he entered the cigar business during the boom of the 1990s and built a brand with a broad portfolio, strong tobacco network and deep blending expertise. His cigars are handmade in Honduras and at his own Tavicusa factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The Rocky Patel Emerald brings a smooth to medium bodied box pressed cigar to the humidor. It is made for smokers who enjoy balance, fine aromas and a modern take on classic cigar formats. The Ecuadorian Sungrown wrapper adds a velvety structure and gentle spice.
The blend combines an Ecuadorian wrapper with binders from Nicaragua and Mexico, along with filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras. A flavourful leaf from the Jamastrán Valley in Honduras gives the blend additional aromatic depth. In Robusto format, with a length of 140 mm, a diameter of 20 mm and a ring gauge of 50, it offers a balanced smoking format.
In terms of flavour, the Rocky Patel Emerald shows notes of caramel, gingerbread, leather, white pepper and coffee. The blend is smooth, aromatic and balanced, with sweet, spicy and lightly roasted facets.
