12/12 Pastis de Saint Tropez Rendezvous en Terrasse is a French pastis from Provence with 45% vol. This bottling combines the classic character of a Mediterranean anise aperitif with a fine almond note and the spirit of Saint Tropez.
For its production, star anise is distilled first. Selected plants and spices are then dried and macerated to extract their aromatic qualities. A subtle almond note completes the composition.
On the nose, the pastis is powerful and rich with liquorice, star anise and candied fruits. On the palate, it is balanced, smooth and Mediterranean with spicy anise, fine sweetness and aromatic freshness.
The finish is fresh, slightly tangy and accompanied by discreet almond notes. The name 12/12 refers to an old boules expression: as a game is played to 13 points, 12/12 stands for the decisive match ball for both teams.
