The Behn company was founded in 1892 by Waldemar Behn as a beverage wholesaler. Waldemar Behn sold beer to construction workers on the Kiel Canal. In 1906, Waldemar Behn bought the brewery in Eckernförde, where the company is located today. The range of Waldemar Behn GmbH now includes many different spirits.

FICKEN is a fruity jostaberry liqueur with 15 % alcohol by volume. The jostaberry, a hybrid of black currant and gooseberry, gives this liqueur its intense, slightly tart flavour with sweet and sour notes and a deep red colour. Made in Germany using high-quality fruit juice concentrate and careful processing, this full-bodied fruit liqueur is ideal for drinking straight, over ice or in Cocktails.
