Gammel Dansk saw the light of the day for the first time in 1964. The main ingredient is bird berry, but the product contains a total of 29 different herbs, flowers and spices, including star anise, nutmeg, cinnamon, gentry root, ginger and pommeranze. The herbs are added to herbal distillation and maceration (extraction). Thereafter, the product is stored for three months in tanks before bottling.
He has a pleasant bitterness and a good interaction of flowers and spices with a good, long, spicy finish.
