Jägermeister is a herbal liqueur that is produced and bottled in Wolfenbüttel, Lower Saxony. Jägermeister is the world's most successful liqueur brand. It is made with 56 herbs, fruits, roots, and spices, including citrus peel, licorice, anise, poppy seeds, saffron, ginger, juniper berries, and ginseng. These ingredients are ground and then soaked in water and alcohol for two to three days. This mixture is then filtered and stored in oak barrels for about a year. After a year, the liqueur is filtered again and then mixed with sugar, caramel, and alcohol.
Jägermeister has a mildly spicy, complex flavor that warms the soul. It is characterized by hints of citrus, ginger, and star anise, accompanied by a pleasantly bitter herbal note. Pure and natural in taste, paired with a solid, strong Character.
