Pastis des Terres Rouges is a French pastis from Distillerie des Terres Rouges in Turenne. This bottling combines traditional anise aromatics with a layered composition of plants and spices.
The pastis is made through an infusion of plants and the blending of several distillates. Typical botanicals include star anise, green anise, liquorice, cardamom, juniper, mace, caraway, mugwort, angelica, coriander and cloves.
On the nose, it shows fine anise notes, liquorice, herbs and gentle spice. On the palate, Pastis des Terres Rouges is rich, complex and aromatic with anise, liquorice, juniper, cardamom and spicy herbal notes.
