This edition of the classic Pisang Ambon also contains Guaraná berries and limes. The originally from Indonesia recipe from Pisang Ambon was brought in 1948 by a soldier to the Netherlands, where the Bols based on bananas is produced today by Bols. Pisang is the Indonesian word for banana, Ambon the capital of the Indonesian province of Maluku.
This is a very refreshing fruit liqueur with a hint of guaranabere and lime.
