On the shores of Lake Constance in Austria, in a region known for its rich tradition of orchard farming, apples, pears, plums, cherries, apricots, quinces, and other fruit varieties ripen under unique climatic conditions. These fruits develop a distinct varietal character that is ideal for distillation. Since 1886, these natural treasures have been used to create the finest fruit distillates. What began as a small farm with an inn gradually evolved into a cooperage and cidery and ultimately became today’s Prinz Fine Distillery.
Full Fruited Apricot Liqueur
This full fruited apricot liqueur brings the aromatic taste of juicy Rosenmarillen apricots to the glass. Austria is regarded as the home of this special liqueur tradition, especially with its apricots from the Danube Valley. Rosenmarillen are among the regional varieties of the Wachau and are known for their intense aroma, juiciness and rich colour.
Thanks to its high fruit juice content, this liqueur offers an inviting aroma and a particularly smooth, fresh and fruity taste. The natural fruit intensity of the apricot makes it a versatile pleasure, enjoyable neat or as a companion to fine desserts.
