Ricard is the French national drink. Ricard was founded in 1932 by the then 23-year-old entrepreneur Paul Ricard. Ricard is an anischnapping for a unique recipe with a Maische Chinese Star Anis, Liquorice roots from the Middle East and a strictly secret herbal mixture from southern France. The liquorice root gives Ricard his balance and the legendary bronze.
This pastis is discreet and refreshingly with a unmistakable licorice taste. The unique mix of Anis, Licorice and the herbs of Provence is best enjoyed by mixing a part of Ricard with five parts of water and ice.
