Romana Sambuca Extra Liqueur is a classic Italian sambuca liqueur with 40% vol. The 1 litre bottle is well suited for sipping neat, as a digestif or for the traditional serve with coffee beans.
The liqueur is made from natural essences, including elderberry, green anise and star anise. This gives Romana Sambuca its typical intense anise aroma, clear sweetness and spicy aromatic character.
On the palate, Romana Sambuca is full bodied, sweet and clearly anise led. Fine herbal notes, subtle liquorice nuances and pleasant warmth round off the profile.
The finish is sweet, smooth and long lasting with a pronounced anise note. Romana Sambuca can be enjoyed neat, slightly chilled, over ice, in espresso or as an ingredient in cocktails and desserts.
