Since Ernesto founded »EPC Cigar Co.« with his children in 2009, many top cigars have left the »Tabacalera La Alianza« in the Dominican Republic. Among others, »La Historia«, which was voted number 2 on the Cigar Aficionado list in 2014. Four years later, first place and that with the first Nicaraguan puro that EPC Cigar has ever produced. As the name "Encore" already suggests, it represents the addition to "La Historia". The "Encore" was supposed to inspire aficionados worldwide in 2016, but Ernesto wanted to give the cover pages a little more time. He followed his unique instinct for tobacco and gave the wrappers a full two more years to mature! This decision was rewarded by the »Cigar Aficionado« with a phenomenal rating of 96!
