The Flor de Copan cigars are among the best-selling series in Germany. The name stands for the name of the factory in which they are made: the Tabacalera is called Flor de Copan and is located in the city of Santa Rosa de Copan in Honduras near the border with El Salvador and Guatemala.
Knowing where to find the best climatic conditions, the Mayans thousands of years ago grew tobacco in the Santa Rosa de Copán area, a cool hilly region of Honduras near the borders of Guatemala and El Salvador. This is exactly where the award-winning Flor de Copán cigars are made by hand.
