In 1815, the Schotte Robert Cockburn and his brother John, already successful wine merchants in Leith at Edinburgh, founded a branch of their company in Porto: R & amp; J Cockburn's. Cockburns Port is known for its combination of strength and elegance. It is made from the best Douro Valley grapes and matured in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
Cockburn's Special Reserve is a vintage cuvée in the only high-quality basic wines that are filled after a 5-year ripening.
The perfectly balanced reserve port is well structured, with ripe fruits and gentle spicy tannins.
