Grahams is known for making the best port wines and is located in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal (near Porto). Graham's was one of the first port companies that invested in his own vineyards in the Portuguese Douro Valley in 1890 and is today up to date with innovation in winemaking technology.

Port wine is still manufactured in this way by deliberately interrupting the fermentation of the grape most and adds a clear grape fire called Aguardente, which is commonly referred to as "brandy". This preserves a large amount of the natural sugar of the grapes, which gives port its characteristic sweetness and wealth.

The grapes from which port is made must be grown in the mountainous region of Upper Douro in North Portugal. This protected region is the only place in the world where authentic port can be made.

This is a cheaper variant of the vintage port, which matures at least two years to even six years in barrel and / or tank. The name results from the real vintage bottle filling and the fact that it is a port from a particularly good vintage.

In the nose, a tremendous intensity arises, with aromas of red and black fruits, chocolate and notes of roasted almonds. On the palate he is full-bodied and clean, with an extraordinary velvety and round structure. Aromas of blueberries, cherries and marzipan streans on a wonderful way. The finish is long and complex.
