Grahams is known for making the best port wines and is located in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal (near Porto). Graham's was one of the first port companies that invested in his own vineyards in the Portuguese Douro Valley in 1890 and is today up to date with innovation in winemaking technology.

Port wine is still manufactured in this way by deliberately interrupting the fermentation of the grape most and adds a clear grape fire called Aguardente, which is commonly referred to as "brandy". This preserves a large amount of the natural sugar of the grapes, which gives port its characteristic sweetness and wealth.

The grapes from which port is made must be grown in the mountainous region of Upper Douro in North Portugal. This protected region is the only place in the world where authentic port can be made.

This wine celebrates the in-depth knowledge of the vineyards and essential ingredients for producing Graham's exceptional wood-aged ports. At the time of the 1997 vintage, Charles Symington, now Graham's chief winemaker, was apprenticed to his father. More than 25 years later, Charles has selected the remaining casks for a limited bottling.

Taste: Deep orange-brown core with intense coppery reflections. Aromas of quince jam with traces of vanilla and delicate caramel as well as hints of honey and raisins. The wood development is reflected in the delicate almond and marzipan notes. Luminous aroma of red fruits, fresh and lively, with a light citric acidity that gives balance and balance to the wine. Satisfactorily long aftertaste with a subtle combination of walnuts, tea and tobacco.
